About Small Bites Creator
Sheena L Glover
My journey is a testament to resilience and empowerment. I've navigated life's hurdles with grit, transforming personal trials into triumphs. At nine, I took on the role of caregiver, later becoming the first in my family to graduate high school, overcoming domestic violence, and breaking barriers as the fourth black female firefighter in my department's history. My creation of the "Small Bites" program emerged from personal loss of two friends by suicide, aiming to safeguard firefighter well-being through innovation in communication, education, and inclusion. With over 15 years in the fire service and over 20 years in EMS and certification as a law enforcement officer, my multifaceted expertise shapes a pioneering stance on diversity and leadership in emergency services. As I forge ahead pursuing a Master of Organizational Leadership, my mission remains clear: to impact lives, embracing challenges "in SMALL BITES," while inspiring a legacy of change and resilience.
